A lista de indicados ao “Billboard Music Awards 2017” foi o ápice da última semana no mundo da música. �? maior premiação musical dos EUA, ou, podemos dizer, do mundo inteiro! Ao contrário da maioria das indicações voltadas para este universo, os nomeados são escolhidos de acordo com as vendas de seus singles e álbuns nos rankings dos EUA. Bem democrático, né? E como os norte-americanos ditam moda, o mundo inteiro está de olho neste premiação! A cerimônia é no dia 21 de maio, às 20:30, no canal americano ABC.

Como já era esperado, o duo The Chainsmokers (como resistir ao hit “Closer?!) e o rapper Drake lideram a lista de indicações. Twenty One Pilots, Rihanna, The Weekend e Beyoncé também se destacam. Já Adele não aparece em tantas categorias assim, mas disputa duas categorias importantes com Beyoncé: Top Artist e Top Female Artist. Depois de tudo que rolou no último Grammy, será que a competição entre as duas cantoras vai ser um dos grandes momentos desta edição? Para quem não se lembra, Adele ganhou o prêmio de melhor álbum do ano, mas disse não ser tão merecido quento para o álbum “Lemonade”, de Beyoncé. Ela quebrou o gramofone ao meio para dividir com a cantora! Muita gente concorda que a artista foi injustiçada.
